Who has not ever thought “I leave everything and I open a beach bar!” ? Of course, making the decision to leave everything to undertake an unknown adventure may be overwhelming, it may be scary, or it simply seems to be an impossible and difficult decision to make: What do i do with work? and the House? And where do I get the money?
But if there is one thing that has become clear to us in these months of organization, it is that… YES IT CAN! We have found many websites of young and not so young travelers, experts and newbies, savers and wasteful ... all different but with a common denominator: THE ILLUSION!
And here we are Rober and Lety excited and eager to start our great journey ... No! We are not going to open a beach bar (although we do not discard it), but the wind this time will take us through Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia and maybe China or New Zealand and if everything goes well we will end in India…
There is not much scheduled: we have our dear one-way ticket on September 29 from Paris and little more organized, but with our super Lonely Planet, the priceless advice of other travelers and our faithful backpacks we are ready to get lost, learn, enjoy, make mistakes and about Everything to grow and live an experience that will undoubtedly be unique.
Update OCTOBER '13
In the end we did not go to India, or to New Zealand ... but we went to China :-P. But all these destinations, India, Sri Lanja, Maldives, New Zealand and Japan are listed on our agenda!
