WHERE TO SLEEP IN PHUKET: NOVOTEL KARON

Checking out the Novotel Surin cost us a lot, not because of the employees, who did their job well and quickly, but because we were so comfortable that we came to consider hiding in the closet, mimicking the pots or climbing a palm tree ... All in order not to leave. But it would have given us some trouble. And we also had a Novotel more to discover: the one on the beach of Karon.

And ohhhh Leaving there was even harder!

We start with our room. Did you ever see the picture of those hotels with private pool? Well, our room had one! And if you are also one of those who spend hours splashing in the water, you will understand how not only did it cost us to leave this site, it also cost us to get out of the water during those days!

The funniest thing was when, suddenly, he entered Spiderman with our backpacks: a superhero had never “returned” our luggage XD

We always dreamed of having a private pool * _ * and the plan seemed unbeatable. Well, we were wrong, he could improve and he did it: the next surprise at our door was some nachos with beers! That is a welcome! Throughout those two days they left us little details In the room: we tried every tropical fruit on the face of the earth and the occasional cocktail (one night we found a cocktail bar in the room and the ingredients for a delicious drink).

The hotel is, of course, co-jo-nu-do! Has several swimming pools: a perfect one for children, with slides and water games, an organic garden, a Spa, where we took a thai massage We, and an oil massage the Giacos, and several restaurants where you can try some of the Thai specialties (and western!).

And what about the hotel food? One night we tried a menu of several thai dishes They were delicious. I would especially highlight the crab and lemongrass croquettes with sweet and sour sauce (buah, which delightful) and the tiger prawns with tamarind sauce. How good you eat in Thailand, by Diooooh!

And do not miss desserts (yes, we leave Phuket with a few kg of souvenir).

Although the best culinary experience we had (in a long time, I would say) was to try the new Ice & Fire menu, a new gastronomic concept that mixes food with two portentous elements: the ice and the fire. Here we would especially highlight the nigiri super boat and the “Milky Way” cocktail although the truth is that everything was delicious… and each dish was accompanied by a cocktail, so we got something cheerful from there 🙂

Another important thing: the Novotel Karon is right in in front of Karon Beach. The truth is that Surin seemed more impressive but hey, it is still the beach of Thailand and that is not anything. So you know: the best plan after breakfast is to take a dip in the waves of the Andaman Sea, take the rich little sun (put on protection!) And relax in the sand.

So far our review of the hotel ... this time we were guests of Novotel Karon, But our opinion is free and sincere.Come on, as you can see we have not suffered a second in Phuket. Moreover, we had a great time and sharing the trip with "Los Giacos" made the experience even more beautiful.
